Meet Dr. Darrell Tew, DDS, PS
Dr. Darrell Tew is a proud member of the Yakima Community. He has been practicing oral surgery in the Yakima Valley for over 30 years. Prior to settling in Yakima, Dr. Tew graduated from dental school in Lincoln, Nebraska. He worked as a dentist for the Lincoln VA hospital before moving to Houston, Texas to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious Houston Medical Center. From Houston, Dr. Tew and his family came to Yakima to build their home and practice. Coming from a rural farming and ranching community in southern Idaho, Dr. Tew was drawn to the friendly, small-town nature of Yakima. He understands the importance of being a part of the local community. Dr. Tew has been actively involved in the local Boy Scouts of America and has served as President of the Yakima Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Tew believes in the importance of continuing education and regularly takes part in on-going professional certification programs. He is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as a diplomat of the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology.
Darrell, his wife Joann, and their six children are avid outdoor enthusiasts and spend most of their free time enjoying the scenic adventures of the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Tew looks forward to continuing to make Yakima his home while serving his local community.
